Precise time synchronization is necessary for many distributed systems, especially for TDOA Sound Source Localization system. In this paper, a novel message-efficient Precision synchronization system based on PTP and BDS (BeiDou Navigation Satellite System) is proposed. In the system, only SYS and Delay_Resp Message are sent by the cluster, the messages processing in synchronization are reduced to only half of that of traditional PTP methods. Experimental results indicate that the clock offset is below 200ns between clusters, and approximately equal to 200ns between nodes (the maximum is 250ns and 90% of the clock offsets is lower than 200ns).
