This paper presents the outcomes of an ESA-funded technology development activity proposing to use thermal vacuum chambers (TVAC) as facilities to perform EMC radiated susceptibility (RS) tests on specific equipment. The aim is to use the TVAC, which is a metallic enclosure, as a reverberation chamber (RC). The paper addresses in particular the procedure proposed to perform a real RS test in a TVAC and the main conclusions of an RS test performed during the project.
