Firstly, This paper studied the principle and the model of the 15-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor, and gives the modeling process. Secondly, this paper studied and analyzed the limitation of the traditional fundamental plane control technology that used in the multiphase motor control systems, and presented a harmonic plane vector control method that appropriate for the multiphase motor control systems, gives the principle and the model of harmonic plane vector control technology. Finally, this paper built the model of the fundamental plane control system and the harmonic plane vector control system, gives some conclusions. The result of simulation shows that the harmonic plane vector control method presented by this paper is feasible, the control effect of the system is favorable and the harmonic content of the current was reduced obviously.
