This paper deals with the H∞ filtering problem for uncertain two-dimensional (2-D) state-delayed systems described by the Fornasini-Marchesini second model. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired H∞ filters, which depend on the delay sizes in both horizontal and vertical directions, are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
