This research study investigates the potentiality of wind energy in Romania. The wind energy profile for the last 5.5 years has been considered for the statistical analysis by which future aspect can be rendered. The time series model Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) has been taken as a machine learning tool for the analysis of wind energy production. From the data scheme, it is observed that maximum wind energy production is 2811 MW whereas the maximum total production is $\mathbf{9 8 8 6} \mathbf{M W}$. It is easily can be realized that the wind energy production in the future aspect is very important as the share of wind energy plays a vital role in mitigation of the energy crisis. This paper has given a portfolio for the future aspect of wind potentiality using XGBoost model analysis. The minimum RMSE by this prediction model has been recorded as 325.23 for the validation dataset which is prompting the better data prediction analysis.
