This correspondence presents an approach to optimizing the search and track performance of multiple shipboard radars that maximizes their collective search area and concurrently solves for the optimal radar-to-target assignment. Balancing the collective resource utilization among all coordinated sensors increases the surveillance area and number of tracked targets.
