In order to study the impact of environmental familiarity on laboratory crowd evacuation, a pedestrian lattice gas model considering environmental familiarity was established. The model introduces an environmental familiarity parameter to simulate pedestrian familiarity with the laboratory environment. This article takes a chemistry laboratory in a university as an example to study the impact of environmental familiarity on pedestrian evacuation efficiency. The results show that pedestrian evacuation time decreases with increasing familiarity with the environment.
