This paper describes a prototype readout integrated circuit (ROIC) intended for microbolometer infrared focal plane array. The ROIC is based on a novel on-chip bias heating cancellation technique. The test results have shown the effectiveness of the bias heating cancellation. The fixed pattern noise is also reduced by an 8-bit on-chip correction circuit.
