We have developed a terahertz (THz) imaging system based on two-dimensional electro-optic sampling using a high speed CMOS camera and a arrayed-polarizer matched to the camera. By operating the CMOS camera in a normalized differential mode on the single-shot basis synchronized to the pump laser pulses, a better signal-to-noise ratio is achieved in comparison to the system with a non-differential, low-frame-rate CCD camera.
