A Thales developed Multi-Static Primary Surveillance Radar (MSPSR) system has been fielded as part of UK trials to support the Passive Radar Operational Viability Evaluation (PROVE) project. Previous publications about this prototype system have concentrated on small aircraft around an airport with light traffic. This UK trial has provided the opportunity to gather data and assess the performance of a DVB-T based MSPSR system in the busy London terminal manoeuvring area.
