Actuator plays an important role in the Flight Control System of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), so it is necessary to diagnose the fault in real time. This paper analyzed the operating principle of UAVs actuator, on this basis the analytic model is established to operate state monitoring and fault diagnosis, and designed a threshold-improved SPRT joint algorithm to extract the characteristic of fault from residual to make judgment on the working state of actuators. Then, this essay established a mathematical model of actuator fault, and meanwhile the design in this dissertation was verified by infusing the fault model to the actuator. Simulation results showed that the efficiency of identification of actuator's typical faults was improved in the proposed joint algorithm.
