China has become the country with the most highspeed railway facilities, and Chinese residents are enjoying the convenience brought by high-speed railway. Nevertheless, the distribution of passenger flow has become a bottleneck to improve the service level of high-speed railway stations. Most of the existing hub connection schemes rely on the experience of designers, and a large number of evaluation methods focus on the connection capacity, service level and other aspects. So, the passenger transfer efficiency cannot be guaranteed. Based on this, the paper analyzes the connection facilities, passenger transfer mode and passenger walking characteristics in highspeed railway passenger transport hub. By using VISSIM and SketchUp, this paper establishes the connection analysis model of high-speed railway passenger transport hub, and the passenger transfer efficiency is evaluated from the internal and external connection. Then, taking Ningbo Station as an example, the feasibility, accuracy and reliability of connecting simulation technology of high-speed railway passenger hub based on VISSIM is verified. The research results can provide technical support for the layout design and optimization of high-speed railway passenger transport hub, and also provide an idea for BIM Technology in the analysis of transport hub connection process.
