The aim of given paper is to study the orientation dependence of a maximum gain at the two-wave mixing in a cubic photorefractive piezocrystal of (1~1~0) -cut under a DC electric field. The analytical expressions for the gain in approximation of a given grating are obtained with help of solution of the coupled equations system for cubic photorefractive crystals. However, in the case of applying a DC electric field to a crystal it is desirable to take into consideration the redistribution of the light beams intensity in process of their interaction inside the crystal. This redistribution leads to occurrence of dependence of the modulation coefficient m on coordinate z. In this case it is not easy to get the analytical solution of the equations system therefore it was solved numerically.
