In this paper, we have constructed a light source for multiplex coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy, which is based on an unamplified Ti:sapphire laser and two nonlinear photonic crystal fibers (PCF), which separately broaden and narrow the two excitation pulses spectrally.
