Toll collecting systems have traditionally used human payment or specific electronic toll tags. With cloud computing, toll-collecting systems have improved. The suggested system integrates cloud-based services, contactless payment mechanisms, and real-time data processing to improve toll collection. The system's core control unit, a Raspberry Pi board, connects components and connects to the cloud. To identify RFID-tagged vehicles, the toll booth has an RFID reader. The sensor module detects vehicles and activates the cameras to record real-time video of vehicles passing through toll-collecting stations. An LCD screen to display the unit can be included for displaying details to the toll booth manager and showing transaction data to the user. Cloud integration securely transmits, and stores collected data and vehicle information in a centralized database for processing. This allows real-time toll transaction monitoring, automated toll charge calculations, and a seamless payment gateway connection. The capacity, high availability, and trustworthy data storage enable effective toll transaction processing in the cloud. Contactless payment technologies, such as mobile payment applications or electronic wallets, allow customers to pay without cash or toll tags. This optimizes user convenience and supports a seamless and safe toll-collecting procedure. Payment integration ensures accuracy and reduces human mistakes by making transactions smooth and safe. Through cloud services, the suggested system analyzes and reports data. Traffic data, toll-collecting statistics, and historical data may be studied to understand traffic trends, optimize toll pricing techniques, and improve transportation planning.
