In this paper, we employ two fs-Ti:sapphire lasers actively stabilized to repetition rates near 1 GHz to implement high-speed asynchronous optical sampling (ASOPS) in the field of THz time-domain spectroscopy. An integrated THz resonator device comprising two photoconductive (PC) switches for pulsed generation and time-delayed detection of electrical sub-picosecond pulses is designed. Corresponding Fourier transform spectra of the time-domain signals provide insight into the spectral characteristics of the THz resonator.
