Summary form only given. We have proposed and designed a diode pumped solid state laser (DPSSL) driver for inertial fusion energy (IFE) which consists of water-cooled zig-zag path Nd:glass slab amplifiers. For the laser gain medium, we have adopted the glass host which can be produced in laser sizes with good optical quality.
