The realization and achievement of the automated people mover system is bordered by the consideration of cost, safety and security, level of service, alignment of guideway, ridership, operations, and maintenance. The design and planning methodologies for each of these areas are carefully analyzed and described. This system definition is initially sequential in nature for this research. Aerial studies were carried out to determine certain criteria needed for the sample area of study. Design software's were then used to design all the necessary requirements for the automated people mover proposed to be at Nile University, Abuja. A three-dimensional video representation of the designed mover is illustrated. The modern technology will provide a cleaner environment, reduce environmental pollution, increase accessibility, and create availability for more parking spaces on campus. It would enable students traverse the campus more safely, improve traffic flow coordination, and reduce pedestrian congestion within the university campus.
