We report on the IR-cyclotron resonance in HgSe:Fe using 10.6 /spl mu/m wavelength radiation in magnetic fields up to 1000 T produced by the explosive flux-compression. Besides the fundamental electron-cyclotron resonance, we observed much smaller peaks in the high field part of the transmission curve, which might be indications of transitions from the bound Fe/sup ++/-state into the lowest Landau level beyond the crossing of both levels.
