The recent need of substituting the use of conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles with new generation vehicles such as electric vehicles (EVs) to preserve the environment and the air quality especially in urban context is a hot topic worldwide. In Europe, there are several ongoing initiatives and research-innovation projects aiming at improving the EV technology and facilitating the charging and driving of such vehicles. In the context of eCharge4Drivers EU project, this paper proposes a containerized Information Communication Technology (ICT) platform architecture to facilitate the connection of the key electromobility actors, to data storage and exchange and to implement enhanced services. Furthermore, the proposed architecture is designed to allow interoperability through the Hubject eRoaming platform.
