E-Mobility has emerged as a new mode of transportation across the world. The major hinderance to the acceptance of Electric Vehicle (EV) is the lack of charging infrastructure and driving range. Charging station adopted in India are categorized into slow, moderate and fast charging modes. AC charging station comes under slow and moderate charging whereas the DC charging station is capable of providing fast charging operation. The Active Neutral Point Clamped (ANPC) converter-based charging station is designed for 10kW of DC power output. ANPC converter is used as front-end converter and Phase Shift Full Bridge (PSFB) converter as the DC-DC converter. The converter supplied the output power maintaining unity power factor at the supply end. The system can be used in modular form to increase the power density of charging station. The proposed topology has been validated in the simulation and the results are found to be satisfactory.
