Rehabilitation is very important because it is the means by which functions are recovered injured joints or limbs, and if rehabilitation therapy begins immediately after the injury or some corrective surgery the chances of recovery increase significantly, this rehabilitation achieved with continuous passive motion (CPM). This article presents the design of an ankle rehabilitation CPM, are virtual design, prototyping and control to physical rehabilitation, also presents a preliminary study of myoelectric signals (EMG) showing the importance of rehabilitation CPM.
