▪ Proposed cyber security considerations for the UTM ▪ Learnt about high-level UTM architectures in the US and Europe ▪ Reviewed threat landscape of sUAS aircraft, revealing that these aircraft can exhibit emergent behaviors when operating in the UTM ▪ Learnt that the risk level for the UTM increases with a new breed of advanced cyberattacks, called cyber-physical attacks ▪ Proposed a high-level framework to understand physical, cyber and cyber-physical attacks, all under one attack surface for the UTM ▪ Classified high-level unique threats from this attack surface for the UTM and identified security properties to address these threats ▪ Discussed major challenges, promising approaches, and our future work in UTM threat mitigation and security risk assessment.
