In this paper, we introduce MINTRAC (Multi-city INTegrated tRaffic Control), a framework that utilizes multicloud technologies to transform traffic management across urban areas. This architecture facilitates decentralized control, real-time responsiveness, and dynamic scalability. To validate our approach, we have transitioned DALI-Cloud, a cloud-based decentralized collaborative Traffic Control System (TCS), from its original single-cloud architecture on AWS to a multi-cloud configuration that also includes Azure and GCP. Experimental results demonstrate seamless performance across interconnected cities, with significant improvements in latency reduction and system adaptability compared to the traditional serverbased model. This study details the architecture of MINTRAC and its innovative approach to urban traffic management.
