This submission details the findings from our design studies of an automatic diagnostics system for electric power consumers in aircraft. Our system monitors the health of power consumers using a frequency response technique. We report the findings from our development of a proof-of-concept system and discuss a practical case for using the proposed system in real-world avionics maintenance.
