This paper describes the second phase of Observatorio de Movilidad Vial de Pereira (OMV) project, which provides a platform for study of transit that can take the variables measured by the OMV and execute different simulations on the road network of Pereira, taking into account real-time status of traffic lights in field using NTCIP. This simulation platform enable the authorities to model various scenarios that may occur within the city road network, develop new strategies for continuous improvement of mobility and evaluate its impac, all this without directly affecting the real transit system.
