We have just completed a four-year campaign to develop the specialized NTF laser components. We are also completing this year an optic campaign with manufactures to develop the 8000 large aperture components in the NIF system. Such components have been integrated into a single-beam full aperture prototype of the NIF laser amplifier design called Beamlet. The results of these development campaigns and the overall project status will be reported.
