The drones or the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are used in several fields: military, security, health, agriculture, transport, media. Several vulnerability studies on drones have shown that attacks are easily carried out over Wi-Fi or radio links [1]–[2]. In this paper, we will focus on an attack scenario through radio frequencies aiming to hijack the drone. Our approach, based on the Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) technique and the trilateration method, will allow the drone to ensure that the signal received is legitimate.
