Epilepsy is a disorder associated with nerves and nervous system, where the normal signals of neuron electrical activity becomes upset, that create abnormal problems to the patients. The proposed system aims to build a compact real-time monitoring and managing device to detect and eliminate epileptic seizures. This embedded system functions at the wireless network which combines the microcontroller with MAX 232 and stimulator. The microcontroller acquires the heart rate signals and muscular movement signals and then executes the feature extraction to decide whether the seizure has occurred. After investigation, if any seizure is detected, then the signal triggers the stimulator to produce energetic pulses. Simultaneously, the seizure is overcome, and the information about the patient is conveyed to the physician by utilizing GSM.
