Recent progress on supercontinuum lightwave source is presented. It provides coherent 200 nm optical bandwidth, providing more than 1,000 high-quality optical carriers for DWDM. Multi-wavelength short pulses for OTDM/WDM, and an extremely precise optical frequency grid for frequency standards.
