In this paper, we theoretically analyzed the effects of jitter accumulation. The cascadability of single 2R O/E/O wavelength converter is dependent on the amount of jitter and the shape of eye diagram at the end-receiver. From our results, we conclude that cascadability can be improved as the nonlinear parameter is decreased and eye pattern model using nonlinear parameter is more useful than simple sine wave model to get exact results.
