This paper mainly focus on the design of an Elliptically Tapered Balanced Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna (BAVA) with nine hexagonal slots, three on each side of elliptically tapered flare and different geometric patches on each side of substrate i.e., a square patch on the top face, a circular patch between the identical substrate gap and a rectangular patch on the bottom face of the substrate. This design approach mainly enhance the Gain Reflection Coefficient and Radiation Pattern. It involves the parametric analysis of each hexagonal slot and patch. The proposed design involves two FR4 substrates and the antenna dimensions are 70X140X3.2 mm3 where 1.6 mm3 is the thickness of each substrate. The antenna has peak gain >10 dB in 3-10 GHz range and Reflection Coefficient > −30 dB in 3-10 GHz range making the antenna suitable for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) frequency range operations.
