We have demonstrated that the active host material of Anthracene could effectively transfer energy to the blue and orange fluorescent dyes. Evidence showed that the good enough overlapping between the absorption spectrum of BczVBi and the emission spectrum of Anthracene results in an effective energy transfer from Anthracene to BczVBi. However, the fact of relatively poor overlapping between the emission spectrum of Anthracene and the absorption spectrum of DCM2 strongly suggested that the charge carrier trapping process might act the dominant emission mechanism in Anthracene doped with DCM2.
