Since the last century, the problem of air pollution started facing human beings as it started rising significantly. This proposed different health threats to humans, and it is affecting the environment harshly. Traffic and most transportation methods are a significant contributor to this increase in pollution levels due to burning fuels to keep these vehicles moving. Since people strongly depend on these vehicles for their everyday commute moving from starting points to destinations, it will help if the real time contribution this route on pollution levels can be predicted and how it will impact it. This study aims at finding the real- time emissions produced by travelling through a route with a specific vehicle based on studying different characteristics of this route and finding its impact on the initial pollution levels. It studies the effect locally within the edges (roads) taken through this route and regionally within the whole area covered by the network. Studying the impact of moving through a specific route on initial pollution levels is essential as with this information, people can take smarter decisions regarding the routes taken for their transportation from one place to another by choosing the route with the least fingerprint on the environment.
