• ALAADy covers a concept to integrate larger cargo UAS into the European airspace. • Focus: the densely populated German area with special demands in safety. • Concept base: MRC, leading to the use of a dedicated airspace G+ • It is possible to find safe corridors connecting typical destinations in spite of the dense housing in Europe. • Given accurate input data (ground structure databases, traffic density statistics, ground risk information) the method is applicable for other areas, too. • Open issues: • Safety margins for typical corridors: Dimensions of an airspace G+ corridor depend on performance characteristics of the aircraft (minimum turn radius, glide path angle in case of engine failure, etc.) These parameters need to be considered for future calculations. • Exact calculation of ground risk as an input to JARUS SORA and similar.
