The unique capabilities of intelligent vehicle in data sensing, high mobility, computation and communications makes it a promising type of edge devices to collaboratively share data and digital resources, providing new opportunities for creative services and revenues. We envision that vehicle resource sharing can be considered as a service (i.e., vRSaaS). In this article, we present the context, motivation, opportunities, challenges and key enabling technologies around the proposed vRSaaS.
