A new type of embedded piezoelectric sensor is developed, which can be used for structural health monitoring and traffic dynamic monitoring of road engineering. This kind of sensor with different specifications of special piezoelectric ceramic element as functional phase, using cement and epoxy resin organic and inorganic composite materials as special packaging materials, and design and architecture of the sensor package with 3D printing technology preparation. The test results show that the sensor is similar to intelligent aggregate in the common vibration frequency range of civil engineering and has good compatibility with embedded concrete structure; The sensor has good frequency independence and piezoelectric response rate, and the amplitude of input load and the amplitude of output voltage are highly linear; The water environment has little influence on the piezoelectric output performance, and the sensor has good service performance; The sensor is embedded in concrete structures, test the actual output value and the expected value is almost the same, the relative mean square error is only 1.28%, which verifies the feasibility of the piezoelectric sensor in civil engineering structural performance monitoring application; The good frequency independence and linearity of the sensor also ensure its feasibility in the field of traffic dynamic monitoring
