An asymmetric zero correlation zone (A-ZCZ) sequence set consists of multiple ZCZ sequence subsets and it is a generalized version of conventional zero correlation zone (C-ZCZ) sequence set. In this paper, a novel construction of A-ZCZ sequence sets is presented by interleaving a given CZCZ sequence set. One of the most important properties of the proposed A-ZCZ sequence set is the cross-correlation function between arbitrary sequences belonging to different sequence subsets, which has quite a large zero-cross-correlation zone (ZCCZ). The optimal A- ZCZ sequence set can be obtained by choosing an appropriate shift sequence and optimal C-ZCZ sequence set.
