Studies of threat warning systems have identified a need for adaptive post-processing tracking functions and performance oriented tracking technology. We have implemented a fuzzy controller baseline and extended it to include an adaptive mechanism which accounts for system noise. An overview is provided on our concept. Our approach has been verified in simulation. We have analyzed direct mapping of this algorithm technique into inference technology. We have concluded that fuzzy logic offers an interesting, performance oriented solution, which is intuitive. We plan to compare our solution against other approaches.<>
