This paper represents the mathematical modelling and design of the electrical and electronic components of the solar-powered airplane. As solar power is the cleanest vitality in the world so for the encouraging the renewable energy resources in this kind of project is quite interesting. Component involved in this paper are showing the electrical drive utilization. For getting the proper arrangements at the given determination it is important to consider the power to weight ratio at certain level. Aircraft model designed using the MPPT charge controller using buck converter, battery storage system and electrical drive system. Modelling of the solar powered airplane is being done by MATLAB/SIMULINK.
