Beam optics analysis is currently being used to design multiple beam and sheet beam electron guns and collectors. The advanced graphical user interface and adaptive meshing provide a powerful, user-friendly design tool for simulating complex geometries. Characteristics of the design code are predicted as well as integration of computer optimization routines.
