The quadcopter is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) suitable for various applications (environmental monitoring, aerial photography, search and rescue, and surveillance, etc.) due to its adaptable mobility. This paper discusses the mathematical modeling and controlling of the quadcopter. The Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller is used for stabilizing and controlling quadcopters in the presence of external disturbances, including aerodynamic effects, external interference, and wind disturbance.
