Health data is classified as a top priority data to be protected and maintained. Management of paper medical records is difficult as they are prone to theft and misplacement. Therefore, there is a need to provide precise, up-to-date, and complete data about the patients at the time of care. This leads to the era of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) which is a digital solution for management of health records. Current EMR have a lot of challenges like - security, interoperability, lack of Data Analytics, etc. The proposed solution addresses these challenges and provides the functions like - data capture, data storage, data retrieval, data provisioning and data analytics. Double security algorithm which is a combination of both cryptography and steganography has been used to enhance the security. Moreover, the information directly obtained from the EMR provides an insight into methods to enhance delivery of healthcare facilities relying on individual approach towards every patient.
