Designing a secured and high speed data transfer telecommunication system over a harsh remote environment for a nano satellite placed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) has many difficulties and challenging problems. Nano satellites are small, low cost and provide unique benefits compared to traditional satellites. Earth station communicates with LEO satellites only when the satellite is in their visibility region. During the design of an optimum telecommunication system for a nano satellite, the design constraints must be addressed. In this paper, the design constraints of wireless communication system for nano satellites placed in the Low Earth, Near Circular Polar Sun Synchronous Orbit and the telecommunication system architecture for PISAT nano satellite are presented.
