A new type of the mm-waves wire antennas (undulator antennas) is suggested and investigated in the frequency band 26-38.5 GHz. Calculations of the electric field radiation were conducted in the far zone at different frequencies for the undulator antennas with wires bent in shape of sinusoid. Experimental results showed that there are such working regimes of the undulator antennas excited by the traveling current wave, when the undulator antenna radiation is transversely-polarized broadside radiation, which sharply directed with insignificant level of the side lobes. Investigations of the undulator radiation characteristics showed its efficiency for employing as a basic element in different mm-wave devises, for example in aperture arrays.
