This paper describes a simple methodology to evaluate the attitude of the ExoMars Entry Descent and landing Demonstrator Module (EDM), called Schiaparelli Module, using the Ka band Radar Doppler Altimeter (RDA) range and velocity measurements. This approach is attractive to improve the EDM navigation system robustness. The proposed methodology has been verified during the RDA test campaign performed in Morocco (Mars like scenario) and applied to the experimental data recorded during the descent of the Schiaparelli Module on Mars.
