Nowadays Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are widely implemented to different range of tasks including monitoring industrial facilities, delivering goods to hard-to-reach areas, process fields, predicting emergency situations, etc. The article is dedicated to the development of a decision support system to prevent accidents when preparing a flight task for a group of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). An analysis of the subject area and existing solutions was carried out. The principles on which they are built are investigated. An algorithm has been developed for the operator’s actions to prepare and control the UAV to reduce the risk of emergencies. This algorithm is the basis of the decision support system to prevent the risks of critical conditions. A comparison was made of the process of preparing a UAV group using a decision support system and without using the system.
