Collaborated with several ground stations and relay stations, multiple organized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) establish a whole UAV swarm system, whose application into military fields is now deemed promising and practical. However, development of such a large-scale swarm is bound to encounter challenges like accidental damage or rival attacks during battles, etc. Existing solutions cannot solve the problem under proper consideration of efficacy and energy consumption. In this paper, we propose and implement a random label based security authentication mechanism for large-scale UAV swarm that enables UAV swarm to generate uncertain and certain labels accordingly that are difficult to decipher, thereby prevent the swarm from being infiltrated to some extent. It also keeps the state of the swarm exposed to the ground control stations to make timely supplements. Experiment results show that the mechanism enables the system to achieve better performance in both system robustness and completion efficiency.
