The aim of the work is to survey and create a 3D model of the apses of Catholic churches in Székesfehérvár. Székesfehérvár is the ancientcapital of Hungary for 500 years and has several old and rather new Catholic churches. Till now two churches have been examined. As the apses generally have a great height it seemed to be easier to use UAV to make photographs in order to create a comprehensive view and a 3D model of these inner areas. As the GPS was not available inside, a more careful flight was made during the process. The results were 3D models and videos made of photographs. Our future plan is to fly inside the other churches and to make a free access to these materials. They will also be used for educational purposes.
