Jakarta Capital Regional Government has determined that the provision of public transport is one of the answers to solve urban traffic problems, such as congestion, the use of private vehicles (motorcycles) are constantly increasing. There are three main options of public transportation, i.e. BRT (busway), LRT and MRT (rail-based). Seeing the current situation, the public transport operators in large numbers as well as e-payment services providers need to collaborate. Therefore, not only integrating important transportation modes, integrating the e-payment system is also important. This study proposes the conceptual thinking about the factors that affect the successful integration of e-payment in public transport in Greater Jakarta.
